Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Pat Connaughton and forward Jae Crowder will enter the starting lineup on Wednesday against Memphis. Connaughton will be Malik Beasley's backcourt partner, with Damian Lillard (groin) and Patrick Beverley (ankle) unavailable. Crowder replaces Khris Middleton (ankle), who's resting on the second night of a back-to-back. Both players will have extra fantasy value in a starting role. Connaughton is the more attractive piece of the two, with him having notched 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in two previous starts this season.
Toronto Raptors guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. (back) won't feature against the Timberwolves on Wednesday. After resting on Tuesday against the Lakers, Trent Jr. was initially expected to play but back spasms will keep him out from the contest. Following his return on Tuesday, RJ Barrett (knee) will get the night off, along with Kelly Olynyk (rest), so Immanuel Quickley should feature very heavily on offense for the team. Javon Freeman-Liberty, Gradey Dick, and Jordan Nwora will also have a chance to shine.
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) will sit out Wednesday's matchup against Memphis. He injured his right ankle against Washington on Tuesday and exits the lineup after already playing with a wrist problem. The Bucks also won't have Damian Lillard (groin) on Wednesday, which leaves AJ Green and TyTy Washington Jr. as the lone options at point guard. The two have previously combined for only three career starts.
Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) will play against Memphis on Wednesday. Milwaukee finishes off a back-to-back, and Giannis has been upgraded from probable to available. The team is going to need a monster shift from him, with Damian Lillard (groin) and Khris Middleton (ankle) out of the lineup. Additionally, Malik Beasley and Bobby Portis should play a larger part on offense, with two of Milwaukee's three top scorers sitting out the contest.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (ankle) is listed as out for Wednesday's matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. After falling to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, the Bucks will manage the left ankle of Middleton on the second night of their back-to-back. The veteran forward should be good to go for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Jae Crowder figures to enter the starting five in Middleton's absence, but he's only averaged 5.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.0 threes in 23 games as a starter in 2023-24. Fantasy managers can do better on Wednesday's nine-game slate, but Memphis is giving up the second-most treys to opposing small forwards (3.1).
