Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (shoulder) was diagnosed with a Grade 1 AC joint sprain. He was injured in Friday's win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Unfortunately, the news isn't good, with the 25-year-old now considered "week-to-week." Morant has had a down year, averaging 21.2 points. It's also not ideal, considering he underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in 2023-24. With that in mind, Desmond Bane should lead the way on the scoring end while Morant is sidelined. But players like Scotty Pippen Jr., averaging 14.6 points, 6.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 14 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Jaylen Wells could all see an increase in fantasy production.

Memphis Grizzlies center Jay Huff (ankle) will return to the lineup for Friday's battle against New Orleans. The seven-footer has missed the past four games with a left ankle sprain. Huff, a former G League Defensive Player of the Year, has provided quality minutes as a reserve this season, averaging 9.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks in 15.2 minutes. However, he has very little fantasy value, with Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke, and Jaren Jackson Jr. all healthy.

Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Santi Aldama (ankle) will not be available against New Orleans on Friday. He injured his left ankle in Thursday's blowout win over Toronto. Aldama's role in the rotation has been significantly smaller recently, but he's still averaged over 22 minutes coming off the bench this month. Jake LaRavia and Brandon Clarke should get an uptick in minutes on Friday. The two have posted similar numbers across the season, though LaRavia has slightly more fantasy value due to his better passing ability.

Washington Wizards forward/center Marvin Bagley III (knee) will not be in the lineup on Thursday against Charlotte. He sprained his right knee against Oklahoma City on Monday, and it's not fully clear when Bagley II will be able to return to action. Washington's frontcourt also remains without Kyle Kuzma (ribs) on Thursday. The returning Alex Sarr (back) should have a busy night against the Hornets, along with Jonas Valanciunas, who racked up 12 points, 16 rebounds, and a pair of blocks on Monday.

Washington Wizards forward/center Marvin Bagley III (knee) had his night cut short by injury against Oklahoma City on Monday. He appeared to have hurt his right knee in the fourth quarter in a collision with Thunder big man Isaiah Hartenstein. With Alex Sarr (back) absent on Monday, Bagley III was back in the rotation and performed well before making a premature exit. The 25-year-old finished with seven points, six rebounds, one assist, and one steal across 16 minutes of action. Further tests will reveal the severity of Bagley III's injury, but it looked a pretty bad one and might leave him on the shelf for quite some time.
