Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's clash with the Wizards. James put in a vintage performance on Wednesday against the Clippers but could sit out the second leg of a back-to-back to rest his ailing left ankle. The veteran superstar has skipped one game in each of the last two back-to-back situations. Taurean Prince would have a chance to move back into the starting five if James is out on Thursday. He's totaled 9.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in a starting role this season.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James outscored the Clippers on his own in the fourth quarter to lift the team to a 116-112 victory in the Battle of Los Angeles on Wednesday night. With James leading the charge, the Lakers pulled off a 21-point comeback in the fourth. It marks the largest fourth-quarter comeback in James' career. He masterminded the late push with a 19-point effort in the quarter, while the Clippers were limited to only 16 points across the final 12 minutes of action. James had a game-high 34 points in total with a spectacular 7-for-12 effort from deep. He shot 13-for-21 overall and completed his line with six rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks. James has been a man on a mission since returning from the All-Star break, averaging 30.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 9.7 assists in three games with 57 percent shooting from behind the arc.
Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Cam Reddish (ankle) has been cleared to play and head coach Darvin Ham confirmed that the 24-year-old is available for their game against the Los Angeles Clippers. Reddish hasn't played since January 23 due to an ankle sprain that he suffered against the Clippers, coincidentally. In his 35 games with the Lakers this year, Reddish has started in 26 of them and averages 6.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 steals across 23.3 minutes per contest. He hasn't been delivering the value that fantasy managers may need in most leagues and formats this season. It's also unclear how many minutes he'll receive in his first game back.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) was originally listed as questionable but head coach Darvin Ham said that he will in fact play on Wednesday night. That means the Lakers will at least have their two superstars against the Los Angeles Clippers and they even get Cam Reddish (ankle) back for the first time in a month. The King will remain in his usual starting role and should remain in any fantasy starting lineup as well. He's played in the team's last two games while delivering a double-double last time around and a 30-point game the time before that. Fantasy managers can expect a higher-scoring affair for the battle of Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Cam Reddish (ankle) appears ready to jump back into action Wednesday versus the Clippers, with the team listing him as probable for the big matchup. Reddish has been out for 14 straight games, but he managed to practice on Tuesday and looks set to re-enter the rotation on Wednesday. However, Reddish might not see a lot of action in the game due to his lengthy absence and the Lakers' recent lineup changes.
