Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner (back) won't play on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies. The 27-year-old had scored at least 20 points in three of his four appearances ahead of Friday's win over the Phoenix Suns. However, he'll now miss Sunday's game because of back spasms. With Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) still out, Pascal Siakam, Buddy Hield, and Andrew Nembhard could lead the way offensively, giving all three men added value in all fantasy setups.
Indiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam posted his first triple-double of the season and the first of his Pacers' career on Thursday, recording 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in the team's 134-122 win over the 76ers. Siakam trailed only Joel Embiid in points during the game and led all players in rebounds and assists. With Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) out, the newly acquired former All-Star led the charge in a wire-to-wire win for Indiana at home. The 29-year-old is averaging 19.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game in four games with the Pacers.
Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) will miss the next three games before being re-evaluated on Saturday, head coach Rick Carlisle announced on Tuesday. The Pacers star has played in only one of the last seven games. T.J. McConnell and Andrew Nembhard (back) will be Carlisle's remaining point guard options. The former could be set for a big performance on Tuesday against Denver, as Nembhard is considered questionable for the game. With both Haliburton and Nembhard on the shelf, McConnell turned in a nice 20-point, 10-assist performance against Sacramento last week.
Indiana Pacers forward/center Isaiah Jackson (concussion) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets. He's sat out two games while being in concussion protocol. However, it looks like Jackson could be cleared to return on Tuesday. The 22-year-old is a good per-minute performer, but he doesn't get a lot of playing time for the Pacers behind Myles Turner, and Pascal Siakam's addition to the frontcourt will further complicate Jackson's situation.
Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) is questionable ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the Denver Nuggets. The 23-year-old was sidelined for five games before returning for Friday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. He played well in that one, ending the night with 21 points and 17 assists. But he wasn't available for Sunday's meeting with the Phoenix Suns. However, head coach Rick Carlisle indicated Haliburton was out for injury management, easing concerns throughout the fantasy basketball community. That said, barring a setback, Haliburton will suit up versus the defending champs. But if he can't, Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner would presumably remain the primary offensive options. At the same time, players like Buddy Hield, T.J. McConnell, Obi Toppin, and Andrew Nembhard, among others, could see more scoring opportunities.
