Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) is available on Thursday against Memphis. The veteran was in danger of missing this contest because of ankle soreness. However, he'll be out there and will get the start in place of Alperen Sengun (calf), who will miss his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. Adams has averaged only 3.2 points and 4.8 rebounds this season. Yet, it's logical to assume he'll be more productive, so he has some streaming value for fantasy managers. Adams will likely also draw value attention from DFS participants. The same can be said for Jock Landale, who will come off the bench behind Adams.

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (calf) won't play on Thursday against Memphis. The 22-year-old, who was named an All-Star on Thursday night, has had a fantastic 2024-25 campaign, averaging 19.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. However, he'll miss his first game of the season. Fortunately, it doesn't appear as if the injury is anything severe, so he could be back on Saturday against Brooklyn. Steven Adams (ankle), who will play, will get the start in Sengun's place, with Jock Landale coming in for relief. While both players have some upside, especially for DFS managers looking for value, they are still risky fantasy options.

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (calf) is questionable for Thursday's game in Memphis. Sengun is coming off another productive outing, amassing an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double in Tuesday's win over the Atlanta Hawks. But he's now in danger of missing Thursday's contest, which would be his first absence of the 2024-25 campaign. With Steven Adams (ankle) also carrying a questionable designation, Jock Landale might end up entering the starting lineup. The 29-year-old has averaged just 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds this season. Yet, Landale should have no problem surpassing those numbers if he starts, especially against a Grizzlies club that has allowed 115.6 points per game in 2024-25.

Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) will not play against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday. He will miss the second game of a back-to-back as Eason manages a left lower leg injury. The 23-year-old has missed significant time this season because of the injury, so it makes sense that the Rockets want to avoid risking a re-aggravation. Jae'Sean Tate is expected to see increased playing time on Tuesday, particularly since Cam Whitmore (illness) is questionable for the game. However, Tate is not a reliable source of fantasy value.

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (ankle) will not be available for Tuesday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks. He landed on the injury report late with left ankle soreness. Adams played 14 minutes in Monday's win over the Boston Celtics, notching four points and four rebounds. Jock Landale should take over his minutes as the backup center on Tuesday. As Alperen Sengun is fully healthy, Landale likely won't play enough to warrant fantasy selection.
