Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) is set to miss his fourth straight game on Wednesday. Head coach Ime Udoka mentioned that the team is giving Eason time to rest and recover, so he could miss the next week or two. That means, Eason could be looking at another four missed games over the next week. The Rockets are banged up at the forward spot right now. That means, Jae'Sean Tate should continue to see big minutes, but he hasn't really been producing. That being said, Tate won't be anything more than a deep league option for the moment.
Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) will not be available for Wednesday's clash with the Chicago Bulls as the team continues to manage his left lower leg. This is starting to become a bit of a concern, as it's unclear if Eason has suffered a setback or if this treatment is part of Houston's plan of load management after he sustained a stress reaction during the preseason. Though Eason's sporadic absences are certainly frustrating, the 2022 first-rounder was starting to pick up steam before returning to the shelf with averages of 13.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 1.0 treys in 26.2 minutes over his last 10 games. Since Dillon Brooks (oblique) remains on the sidelines with Eason, Cam Whitmore, Jeff Green, and Jae'Sean Tate will all be candidates for extended run on Wednesday.
Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) will remain sidelined on Monday while he continues to deal with a lower leg injury. This will be the 22-year-old's fourth consecutive game missed after stringing together a good stretch of five games. There hasn't been any timetable for a return or a report on how severe the leg injury is, so fantasy managers will want to stay tuned for more updates throughout the week. Eason was seeing around 27 minutes a night off of the bench, so it's a bigger void to fill. With Dillon Brooks (oblique) also out, the Rockets have given Jae'Sean Tate and Jeff Green more opportunities. Both of which are solid streaming options for those managers who need a backup plan in the meantime.
Houston Rockets guard/forward Dillon Brooks (oblique) will miss his seventh consecutive game on Monday as he's been ruled out again while dealing with a right oblique strain. Brooks suffered this injury back on December 26 in a game against the Indiana Pacers and hasn't been able to play since. In that span, the Rockets have gone 3-3 so far and have a noticeable gap in their defense. Brooks has been a solid contributor in deeper fantasy leagues despite seeing his numbers drop in scoring this year. While he's been on the sidelines, Jae'Sean Tate has taken over the starting spot and Jeff Green has seen a big chunk of playing time off of the bench. Cam Whitmore has seen some added minutes as well, but the former two names have been better streaming options thus far.
Houston Rockets forward Tari Eason (leg) was originally listed as questionable on Friday morning, but has since been downgraded and will not play against the Minnesota Timberwolves. This is going to be his second consecutive absence while he manages left lower leg soreness. His injury doesn't seem to be too severe since he's received questionable tags and only has been downgraded on the day of the game. So, hopefully, this will be his last missed game, but that means Amen Thompson, Jeff Green, and Cam Whitmore should keep receiving extra minutes off the bench. Thompson seems to get the most minutes so far, so he seems to be the top streaming option of the three.
