Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green (back) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The 34-year-old recently admitted his current back issue isn't new. But he'll likely do what he can to return on Saturday after sitting out the Dubs' loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. The Warriors are currently clinging onto the last Play-In spot, so Green has the motivation to return as soon as possible. However, Trayce Jackson-Davis, averaging 12.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in five starts during the 2023-24 campaign, will likely continue to fill in for Green if he's not ready to return versus Los Angeles.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's meeting with Los Angeles Lakers. He recently resumed practicing, which is a good sign. However, the 36-year-old, who missed the last three games because of a sprained ankle, likely has some hurdles to leap before being cleared to get back on the floor. With Golden State holding on to the last play-in spot, the team needs Curry back soon. But they won't rush him back before he's 100%. Nonetheless, if he remains sidelined versus the Lakers, Chris Paul, who is averaging 12.7 points, 7.4 assists, and 1.4 steals in 14 starts this season, would continue to handle most of the work at the 1.
Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson (shoulder) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Utah Jazz. Anderson was able to play on Friday but has been dealing with a lingering shoulder issue. His absence would be important considering he has been starting in place of Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) lately. Nickeil Alexander-Walker would likely be asked to move into the starting five if Anderson is unable to play. He'd be an interesting streaming option if asked to start.
Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against the Mavericks. Green was a late addition to the injury report with lower back soreness and has been downgraded from questionable to out. Trayce Jackson-Davis has been very impressive with his performances lately and looks to be Green's likeliest replacement in the starting unit. Kevon Looney and Dario Saric might see some extra time off the bench.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (back) is listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Green was able to play through lower back soreness on Monday. He seemed to be fine going into this game but ended up being a late addition to the injury report. If he sits, Trayce Jackson-Davis would likely be asked to move into the starting five. This would be a favorable matchup for him, so fantasy managers should stay tuned for more updates.
