Simone Fontecchio Unavailable Monday

Detroit Pistons forward Simone Fontecchio (toe) will miss Monday's meeting with the Celtics. He was initially labeled as questionable for the game but has now been ruled out with a toe contusion. The Italian forward got hurt at the worst possible time, as Fontecchio has enjoyed a very good run in the team, averaging 15.7 points in 31.9 minutes across March. He's benefited from Ausar Thompson's (medical illness) absence, and it might now be Evan Fournier's time to shine. He already saw 31 minutes against Miami on Sunday, hitting four triples for a nice 18-point outing. Fournier should be playing with a chip on his shoulder after the C's cut ties with him in 2021.

Cade Cunningham Won't Play On Monday

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) won't play against Boston on Monday. He has been downgraded from a questionable status, and it was already unlikely that Cunningham, who's managing a left knee injury, would suit up for the contest after Detroit also played on Sunday. With Cunningham out of the picture, Jaden Ivey will have a chance to go berserk offensively, while Marcus Sasser could play a lot more important role than he usually does. Mind you, this will be a very tough matchup for the Pistons, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect too much from the young team.

Cade Cunningham Questionable Against Celtics

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) is questionable for Monday's contest against the Boston Celtics. On the second part of a back-to-back following Sunday's defeat to the Miami Heat, the last-place Pistons could opt to hold out their franchise cornerstone and manage the left knee that cost Cunningham some time back in late January. Should the former No. 1 overall pick be absent on Monday, Jaden Ivey would be tasked to handle a big bump in usage and orchestrate Detroit's offense in a nightmarish road spot against a Celtics squad that ranks second in opponent field-goal percentage (45.0%). Over 10 games without Cunningham in 2023-24, Ivey is averaging 21.5 points, 5.8 dimes, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 three-pointers and would still be a great bet in points leagues for the start of the fantasy quarterfinals.

Tobias Harris Misses Monday’s Shootaround

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (ankle) did not participate in shootaround on Monday morning. After missing Saturday's victory over the visiting Charlotte Hornets and Sunday's practice due to a sprained right ankle, Harris remains very much in danger of missing Monday's meeting with the Miami Heat. The versatile star forward appears to be closer to doubtful than questionable. If Harris is ultimately ruled out on Monday, veteran Nicolas Batum should stay in Philly's starting lineup. Covering four games for the Sixers without Harris in 2023-24, Batum is averaging 5.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.7 combined steals plus blocks, and 1.0 triples and would only be a low-end fantasy streamer against a Heat team surrendering the fourth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing power forwards.

Tobias Harris Questionable For Monday's Game

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Monday's matchup against Miami. Harris missed Saturday's game against Charlotte with a right ankle sprain and couldn't practice on Sunday. The questionable tag leaves his status up in the air, but it's looking likely Harris will miss a second consecutive game. Nicolas Batum notched eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two blocks as Harris' replacement in the starting five on Saturday. It was an outstanding line from the veteran, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect the same on Monday, as Philadelphia faces a much stronger team.
