Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (illness) will play on Thursday against Milwaukee. He was questionable because of an illness. However, he at least feels well enough to suit up for this one. Naturally, Claxton's availability will mean less work for Day'Ron Sharpe, who had 17 rebounds in 24 minutes in the loss to the Pelicans on Tuesday evening. But considering Claxton has struggled at times versus the Bucks throughout his career, he may not be the best fantasy option, either, even if Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) misses another game.
Brooklyn Nets forward/center Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) will come out of the lineup Thursday versus Milwaukee. He's played through an ankle issue for several weeks but won't be able to go on Thursday, missing his first game since Feb. 8. His absence is set to give Cameron Johnson a chance to shine. Johnson has done well coming off the bench, but a bigger role and more minutes as a starter will increase his fantasy value. The 28-year-old has recorded 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists as a member of the first unit in 2023-24.
Brooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (illness) is sporting a questionable tag ahead of Thursday's battle against Milwaukee. He might be forced to miss his first game of 2024 due to an illness. Claxton has registered six double-doubles in 10 March appearances and would be in a solid position to do damage again on Thursday, as the Bucks struggle defensively and are a mediocre rebounding team. If he's missing, we could see a big performance from Day'Ron Sharpe, with Trendon Watford also in line to see extra minutes.
Brooklyn Nets forward/center Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) has been upgraded from questionable to available for Tuesday's clash with New Orleans. The 30-year-old hasn't missed any games since Feb. 10 and is once again ready to go despite dealing with a sore left ankle. Finney-Smith is coming off a 38-minute shift against San Antonio, during which he posted eight points, seven rebounds, one assist, four steals, and one block. He typically chips in across the board and should do so again versus the Pelicans.
Brooklyn Nets forward Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) is questionable heading into Tuesday's meeting with New Orleans. The 30-year-old logged 38 minutes in the loss to the Spurs on Sunday, finishing with eight points, seven boards, four steals, and one block. But he's in danger of missing his first game since February 8. If Finney-Smith is available against the Pelicans, fantasy managers should consider him a high-upside DFS value option. But if he's not, Cameron Johnson would presumably return to the starting lineup, with Trendon Watford and Jalen Wilson in line for a few minutes off the bench.
