Goedert had a few drops in this contest and was visibly upset with quarterback Jalen Hurts at one point during the second half. Goedert set a career-high in receptions despite missing three games in 2023, but he saw his yards per target take a big hit and failed to reach 600 receiving yards for the first time since 2020. With plenty of turnover coming in Philadelphia, Goedert will remain one of the staples of the Eagles' offense at the start of the 2024 regular season.

Tampa Bay struggled mightily to stop opposing tight ends this past regular season, as they gave up the third-most fantasy points to the position. Goedert caught five of seven targets for 41 yards against them in their first meeting back in Week 3 but could see an even higher target share if Brown is ruled out. Goedert has been hit or miss this year, but he will be a popular DFS option during the first round of the playoffs.

The natural thought would be to throw the ball to the next most talented receiver, but with Jalen Hurts (finger) being pulled once the game was out of reach, the 28-year-old was barely involved the rest of the game. Goedert could be a big part of the offense next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the status of Brown and Smith currently unknown. He will be a top play in daily fantasy formats during Wild Card weekend.
