Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett only caught one pass for 22 yards in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers. Lockett's 22 yards marked a game-high dating back to Week 9. In his defense, fellow wide receiver DK Metcalf did not fare much better in Week 15. The Seahawks' offense as a whole was disjointed. Only running back Zach Charbonnet and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba found any success against a relentless Packers defense. Hopefully, Lockett is on waivers in your fantasy league. He simply cannot even deliver flex value at this point. It is disappointing considering how many years of high-end fantasy relevance Lockett enjoyed before the last season or two.

Otherwise, quarterback Geno Smith was focused entirely on wide receivers DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba and running back Zach Charbonnet. Lockett is a completely forgotten man in the Seahawks' offense. He is a great locker-room presence and a savvy veteran on the field. However, he is not integral to the game plan any longer. At this point, Lockett should not be rostered in fantasy. He will only find relevance should Metcalf or Smith-Njigba go down due to injury.

With fellow wide receiver DK Metcalf (shoulder) off the injury report, this will be the Metcalf and Smith-Njigba show once again. Lockett will be a chain mover on a couple of important plays in this game. However, he will be more important to the Seahawks' success than that of your fantasy team.

However, his days as anything close to a WR2 are officially long gone. At this point, Lockett is not worth a roster spot in fantasy. No one should roster a player who only earns three targets a game and does not score touchdowns. The Seahawks have shifted hard to consolidating targets between wide receivers DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The shift is producing results as both players are having solid seasons. Lockett has been a big name in fantasy for a long time, but it is time to let name value go and move on.
