It was the fourth straight week in which the veteran running back surpassed 100 rushing yards and added a touchdown. Thursday was the former Cincinnati Bengal's first game of the season without a catch, but Houston completed only 11 passes and allowed eight sacks on a forgettable night. Mixon and the Texans will look to get the entire offense moving again in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

Mixon is a clear starter in Week 9.

The veteran back had the possibility for even more, but lost a fumble inside the Colts' 10-yard line late in the fourth quarter, though the Texans still held on for a 23-20 victory. Mixon will look to keep up his good form when Houston visits the New York Jets in Week 9.
