Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch is expected to have an expanded role in 2024, according to Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic. Dortch has been a steady, reliable contributor to Arizona's wide receiver corps over his two seasons with the team. Now, even though Marvin Harrison Jr. will be the focal point of the offense, Dortch is expected to get plenty of looks. He'll operate ahead of Zay Jones and Chris Moore, instead mixing in with the likes of Harrison, Michael Wilson, and Trey McBride. The now-26-year-old had 23 catches for 278 yards over his final seven games last season, and he figures to rank as a high-end WR5 heading into fantasy football drafts this year.
Exclusive-rights free-agent wide receiver Greg Dortch signed his one-year tender to stay with the Arizona Cardinals, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The move will keep Dortch in Arizona for at least one more season, and he could have the chance to contribute after the departure of DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown over the last two offseasons. The 25-year-old was undrafted out of the class of 2019 and has been with five teams so far in his young NFL career. His only game action has come with the Cardinals since 2021, and he's totaled 79 receptions for 762 yards and four touchdowns in 39 games. The Cardinals are likely to draft Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, or Rome Odunze in the upcoming NFL Draft, but for now, Michael Wilson and Chris Moore are the top wideouts on the roster alongside Dortch. He won't have high-end fantasy value, but he could be a deep-league depth option depending on how Arizona's 53-man roster shakes out.
The Arizona Cardinals tendered exclusive rights free-agent wide receiver Greg Dortch on Thursday. Dortch has flown under the radar in recent seasons but has produced quality numbers for the Cardinals when pushed into the starting lineup due to injuries in front of him. The 25-year-old has a chance at beating out Rondale Moore to be Arizona's starting slot receiver in the 2024 season as the Cardinals look to retool their pass-catching corps. Dortch caught 24 balls for 280 yards and two touchdowns last season and could be a deep sleeper in fantasy if he's able to unseat Moore in the upcoming year.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch has hauled in nine of his 12 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown over his last two games. With Marquise Brown (heel) on Injured Reserve, Dortch remains a consideration in deep fantasy leagues or DFS tournaments. The 25-year-old has been a factor in Arizona's offense since the return of Kyler Murray, and Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore have failed to establish themselves as legitimate target-earners out wide. The Seattle Seahawks have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, so Dortch has a path to upside with heavy target volume and an end zone snag.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch delivered a solid fantasy performance in the Cardinals' Week 17 win over the Eagles, catching all seven of his targets for 82 yards. Leading the team in receptions and yards, Dortch proved to be a reliable target for quarterback Kyler Murray. With teammate Marquise Brown sidelined due to a heel injury, Dortch stepped into a more prominent role, showcasing his ability to contribute significantly to the passing attack. His seven receptions and 82 yards were not only team highs but also outshone receivers from both squads. As Arizona heads into Week 18 without Brown, Dortch is poised to maintain a key role in the passing game, making him a WR4 in those leagues with a Week 18 championship on the line.
