Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) is listed as questionable to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Kmet didn't practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and managed to put in a full practice on Friday, so he's clearly on the right side of questionable. The 24-year-old was also questionable last week but was active and played a season-low 13 snaps in the Week 17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. It sounds as though he's healthier this week, which means he should see the field more often. Kmet could see plenty of targets, too, with receiver Darnell Mooney (concussion) already being ruled out. In the season opener against Green Bay, Kmet had five catches on seven targets for 44 yards. Consider him a risky low-end, touchdown-dependent TE1 in fantasy for the Bears' final game of the season at Lambeau Field.
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) practiced in a limited fashion on Thursday after logging a DNP on Wednesday. Kmet has been dealing with injuries that have limited him in practice and games in the last two weeks. Ahead of Week 16, a quad issue limited his participation in practice, though he did finish with a season-high 107 receiving yards against the Arizona Cardinals. In Week 17, his knee injury kept him out of practice until Friday and he was limited to just 13 snaps against the Atlanta Falcons. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring news for updates on his status.
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) will not practice on Wednesday. "They just need another day with the trainers to get ready...it's looking positive but we'll see where it is," head coach Matt Eberflus said. As long as Kmet is able to practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be available to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The 24-year-old played through his knee injury in the Week 17 win over the Atlanta Falcons but wasn't targeted at all. If he's able to play, Kmet should be able to bounce back against the Packers and will be on the fantasy radar as a low-end TE1 option for managers still playing for a championship. In Week 1 against the Packers, Kmet caught five of seven targets for 44 yards.
