However, the Packers are without Romeo Doubs (suspension) and Christian Watson (ankle) is considered doubtful for Week 5. That being said, Melton could work his way into the third wideout role behind Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks. The assumption is that the move up the depth chart will mean more targets for Melton. However, Melton shouldn't be considered anything more than a desperation option in deep leagues given he doesn't have much of a track record of success.

He'll be left to the waiver wire in most fantasy drafts, but he's a name to watch if the Packers suffer an injury or two at the position in 2024.
