New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 17 of his 28 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Rodgers and the Jets turned in an uneven performance in losing to the underdog Patriots as they struggled to move the ball at times and were unable to hold onto a five-point lead with three minutes left in the fourth quarter. Rodgers' touchdown passes went to Tyler Conklin and Xavier Gipson in the close loss to their AFC East rivals. The veteran quarterback came into the game dealing with hamstring and knee injuries but he appeared to emerge from the contest without any further injury. Rodgers will look to regroup ahead of Week 9's Thursday night game against the Houston Texans.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee, hamstring) logged a second consecutive limited practice on Thursday. The veteran signal-caller hasn't missed a snap since Week 1, but his injury status is one to monitor as it could impact his availability for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The last time he faced New England, Rodgers racked up 281 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Assuming he plays in Week 8, he'll rank as a mid-to-high fantasy QB2.
According to interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee, ankle, hamstring) is dealing with a multitude of injuries, as Jonathan Jones of CBS reported. Per ESPN's Rich Cimini, the 40-year-old veteran is listed as limited for Wednesday's team practice. Rodgers has dealt with ankle and knee injuries thus far in 2024, but the soft tissue issue is new. The QB's hamstring apparently "flared up" during New York's 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Fortunately, the sentiment around the team seems to be that it won't put his status at risk for Week 8. Still, fantasy managers may want to keep an eye on him over the coming days. The Jets will line up against the New England Patriots in a divisional clash this Sunday.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of his 39 passes for 276 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while adding a two-point conversion pass in a 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. Rodgers has uncharacteristically struggled to take care of the ball of late, throwing six interceptions over his past three games. The veteran quarterback threw his lone touchdown to Tyler Conklin in the lopsided loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday night. Rodgers has now thrown for 1,663 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions through seven games this season. Settled in as a QB2 in fantasy moving forward, Rodgers will take on the New England Patriots on the road in Week 8. He threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns back when these two teams met in Week 3.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle) is coming off one of his best games of the season as he threw for a season-high 294 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. He will look to keep it going on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7's Sunday night game. The Steelers have been tough on opposing quarterbacks this season, allowing the 28th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Rodgers is still dealing with a nagging ankle injury which held him out of practice on Wednesday but he is listed without an injury designation heading into Sunday. The Jets' early-week acquisition of Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders should provide a boost for Rodgers but he still sets up as a low-end QB2 heading into a difficult Week 7 matchup.
