New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 24 of his 30 pass attempts for 238 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He also rushed five times for 59 yards on the ground and took four sacks. This was Maye's second-best fantasy performance in the last six weeks, and it was also the first time since Week 10 that he coughed up less than two turnovers. Furthermore, the 22-year-old rookie delivered the second-highest rushing yard total of his young career. All in all, Maye turned in a productive fantasy showing despite the Patriots losing at home. He should continue to be viewed as a fringe top-12 fantasy quarterback on the other side of New England's Week 14 bye.
New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson rushed seven times for 62 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. While Gibson operated as the No. 2 running back behind Rhamondre Stevenson, he was more efficient than the Patriots' lead back and also scored the team's only rushing touchdown. We cannot ignore just how efficient Gibson has been lately, averaging 8.9 yards per carry Sunday and 6.2 yards per carry over his last four games. As a result, he should earn more opportunities, perhaps stealing some of Stevenson's touches going forward. We've already seen some signs of Gibson getting an increased workload as Sunday's 23.6 percent snap share was his second-highest mark since Week 6.
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 73 yards on 18 carries during Sunday's Week 13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He also caught all three of his targets for an additional 21 receiving yards. Although Stevenson failed to find the end zone Sunday, fantasy managers have to be happy with his performance, especially considering how unproductive he was just one game earlier in Week 12. He followed up last Sunday's 13-yard clunker by tallying 94 scrimmage yards and boasting a solid 4.1 yards per carry against the Colts. Although Antonio Gibson cut into Stevenson's volume and scoring opportunities, the latter remains New England's No. 1 option out of the backfield and should be viewed as a high-end fantasy RB3 on the other side of the Patriots' Week 14 bye.
New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's Week 13 game against the Indianapolis Colts. Douglas had been listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week long, but the expectation as of Sunday morning was that he would be able to play. The 23-year-old has been a productive volume-based option through seven games with Drake Maye as his quarterback, catching 30 passes for 324 yards and one touchdown during that span. He remains Maye's favorite wide receiver even amidst the emergencies of Kayshon Boutte and Kendrick Bourne. The second-year receiver out of Liberty can be deployed as a low-end WR3/FLEX option in fantasy football this week.
