Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua dominated in the team's 24-23 wildcard loss to the Detroit Lions. Nacua caught nine of his 10 targets for 181 receiving yards and a 50-yard first-half touchdown. He also rushed the ball once for a loss of two yards. The 5th-round rookie set yet another record as he finished with the most receiving by a rookie WR in a playoff game. Despite his season coming to an end, Nacua continued to prove himself as one of the most dangerous receivers in all of football. Heading into next season, fantasy players should consider him in the first three rounds of drafts and ahead of Cooper Kupp.
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (shoulder) is officially good to go for Sunday's postseason clash with the Detroit Lions. The veteran dislocated his shoulder in Week 17 and didn't suit up for the season finale versus the San Francisco 49ers. There were some doubts he would be available. But he logged three limited practice sessions ahead of this one, so he's healthy enough to get on the field. Without question, the injury could severely impact Higbee's play on the field. However, his DFS rostering cost on Sunday is a bargain, meaning he deserves consideration from those looking for a value opportunity.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was able to undergo a full rehab and throwing routine last offseason, continues to feel healthy and throw the ball well. The veteran signal-caller "has no plans to retire," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He completed 62.2 percent of his passes this past season, reaping the rewards of a receiving corps led by Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. He finished the year with 3,965 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions while ranking as the overall QB15 in fantasy football.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has taken over the team's WR3 role and has been a vital part of the offense. From weeks 12-16, Robinson averaged 64 receiving yards per game and scored a touchdown in four of five games. While Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp remain the primary targets for Matthew Stafford, Robinson has built a strong connection with the veteran QB as well. Facing a Detroit Lions on Sunday that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers, the 29-year-old is an intriguing DFS play.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has taken a backseat to rookie phenom Puka Nacua this season. While Kupp has still had some big games and has been a solid option, he does not offer the same ceiling he once did. However, he has been one of the most dominant playoff performers in recent history. Through six playoff game appearances, the 30-year-old has averaged over 100 receiving yards and one touchdown per game. The team now faces the Detroit Lions on Sunday, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. While Nacua should still be considered the number one, Kupp is a great DFS option this week.
