New England also signed K.J. Osborn in free agency, giving Smith-Schuster much more competition in the first year without Bill Belichick in Boston. Smith-Schuster had only 29 receptions for 260 yards and one touchdown in 11 games in his first year with the team in 2023. With Kendrick Bourne (knee) coming back from a torn ACL this year, Smith-Schuster's role is in question.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will be attending and participating in all activities during organized team activities, which start on Monday, according to a source. Rice won a Super Bowl ring in his rookie season in the NFL, but the ensuing offseason has gone terribly for the 24-year-old pass-catcher. Rice is likely facing a suspension in 2024 for his involvement in a multi-car crash in Dallas in late March that caused injury after he left the scene of the accident. He's facing charges for aggravated assault, collision involving serious bodily injury and collision involving injury. We don't know exactly how long Rice will be suspended in his second NFL season, but his fantasy stock is trending down the offseason after he became quarterback Patrick Mahomes' most trusted receiving target last year not named Travis Kelce.

The car of Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy was stolen this week, according to a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department. The car was reported stolen around noon on Monday, according to Sgt. Phil DiMartino. Worthy was not with the vehicle when it was taken and he is unharmed. The Chiefs took Worthy in the first round (28th overall) of last month's NFL draft after trading up with the Buffalo Bills. The speedy pass-catcher set a record at this year's NFL scouting combine with a time of 4.21 seconds in the 40-yard dash. The 21-year-old could have a key role in KC's offense in his rookie year, especially if Rashee Rice is handed down a suspension for his off-the-field situation this offseason. At just 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, there are questions about Worthy's durability, and he's also had issues with dropped passes, but his speed element alone in the Chiefs offense could make him worth a late-round flier in fantasy drafts this fall.

Needless to say, this is a situation worth monitoring, as the 2023 second-round pick is beginning to pile up character concerns. He was already expected to face a multi-game suspension from his previous off-field situation, so this development could put his 2024 campaign even more in jeopardy.
