When asked if he sees running back Dalvin Cook as an insurance policy or a serious competitor for snaps in the playoffs, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said, "We view him as potentially a very valuable weapon for our offense. Dalvin Cook is a high-pedigree player, a highly decorated player. He's still got talent, ability, he's smart, he's in great football shape. He looked very good in practice today. So I think he's going to be a very valuable part of our team in the playoffs." Jets head coach Robert Saleh said something similar about Cook this year, but the 28-year-old didn't look good in 15 games in New York, averaging a career-worst 3.2 yards per carry on 67 carries. At best, he'll be the Ravens' No. 3 behind Gus Edwards and Justice Hill when the team plays in the Divisional Round next weekend.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Washington Commanders. Tolbert was only targeted three times but make two catches for eight yards including a three-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to open the scoring in the first quarter and give the Cowboys a 7-0 lead. Tolbert showed some flashes this season but played mostly in a bit role on offense, putting up a total of 22 catches for 268 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Washington Commanders. Cooks was targeted eight times, making his six catches for 39 yards and the score. His touchdown came on a five-yard pass from quarterback Dak Prescott in the third quarter and gave the Cowboys a 35-10 lead. Cooks had an up-and-down season which made him frustrating in standard leagues but a rather valuable asset in best ball formats. He and the Cowboys will host the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs next weekend.
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson made six catches in a Week 18 win over the Washington Commanders. Ferguson was targeted six times, making a catch on all six for 69 yards total. It was another strong floor game for Ferguson, who was consistently able to put up solid fantasy performances even in games where he did not find the end zone. Ferguson and the Cowboys will face the Green Bay Packers in Dallas next weekend for the first round of the NFL playoffs.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb scored another two touchdowns in a Week 18 win over the Washington Commanders. Lamb was targeted 13 times, making all 13 catches for 98 yards and the two scores. His scores came from four yards out in the second quarter and from six yards out in the third. Lamb was easily one of the best wide receivers in both "real life" and fantasy this year, and he wrapped up his regular season by scoring at least one touchdown in nine of his last 11 games. He and the Cowboys will face off against the Green Bay Packers in Dallas for the first round of the NFL playoffs next weekend.
