Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb caught just two of six targets for 39 yards during Thursday's Week 13 win over the New York Giants. Lamb finished the contest having played a season-low 68 percent of the offensive snaps, spending a good portion of the second half on the sideline without his helmet. It's unclear if Lamb was sidelined due to performance or injury. It's worth noting that he did seem to react to a potential shoulder injury after being taken down by a defender, but the Cowboys never made any sort of injury report announcement regarding Lamb. Regardless of whether he's injured, fantasy managers can be rightfully disappointed about Lamb's quiet showing in a game where other Dallas pass-catchers, such as Brandin Cooks, KaVontae Turpin, and Luke Schoonmaker, thrived. If healthy, Lamb will look to bounce back as a low-end WR1 in fantasy football against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks found paydirt for the first time since Week 1 during the team's Thanksgiving win over the New York Giants. He hauled in three of his seven targets for 16 yards and a touchdown. This was his first game back after a seven-game absence and he tied his season-high in targets. Despite his lack of production, Cooks averages 6.5 targets per game this season. His next chance to capitalize on those targets will be against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush won the battle of backups on Thanksgiving by a score of 27-20 over the New York Giants. The Central Michigan product finished the game with 195 yards and one touchdown on 21-for-36 throwing. He also had five carries for zero yards and one fumble which he recovered. His touchdown pass came during the early parts of the third quarter where he found Brandin Cooks in the end zone to take a 20-10 lead at the time. Rush will look to build a little winning streak as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14.
Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle posted his first-ever 100-yard rushing game in the 27-20 division win on Thanksgiving. The 26-year-old finished with 112 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries with three receptions for 11 yards on three targets. Dowdle's top six rushing outputs have all come this season now that he's seeing a higher snap share. In fact, this game against the Giants was his second-highest snap share of the year with 70%. Dowdle should continue to be one of the fantasy bright spots in this offense for the rest of the year and will look to keep the momentum rolling against the Bengals in Week 14.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert is likely headed for a reduced rule in Week 13 now that Brandin Cooks (knee) is healthy and returning to the lineup. Tolbert had previously been operating as the Cowboys' No. 2 receiver, delivering modest production at best, and now he's dropping to the No. 3 role behind CeeDee Lamb and Cooks. The 25-year-old has two touchdowns over his last four games but hasn't surpassed three catches in a single contest since Week 6. He can be avoided in most leagues as he takes on the New York Giants this Thursday.
