Tee Higgins Suits Up For Thursday's Practice

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (quad) was seen at Thursday's practice in uniform after logging a limited session on Wednesday. The 2020 second-round pick has missed each of the last three games after suffering a quad injury in practice, but his return to action brings optimism for his potential availability in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Before suffering the injury, Higgins posted at least 11.2 half-PPR fantasy points in his last three games. He has averaged nine targets per game in six contests this year, so fantasy managers are surely itching to get him back in lineups. It's too early to tell if he will play on Sunday Night Football, so fantasy managers should monitor his practice status on Friday before making any start-or-sit decisions.UPDATE: Higgins was limited again on Thursday.

Tee Higgins Officially Limited On Wednesday

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (quadriceps) was officially listed as limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Higgins has missed the team's last three games, but head coach Zac Taylor said the 25-year-old has taken "steps in the right direction" towards a potential return in Week 11 to face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night. A return to a limited showing to start the practice week is a good sign, but Higgins still isn't in the clear and could be a very risky fantasy play this weekend if he turns up a questionable tag on the final injury report on Friday. Higgins has missed five games already this year due to injury, but when healthy, he's been a must-start for fantasy managers while averaging 13.3 half-PPR points per game, which ties him with DK Metcalf for 12th-most at the position.

Tee Higgins Won't Practice But Bengals Encouraged With His Progress

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said he's encouraged with wide receiver Tee Higgins (quadriceps) for Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Higgins will not take any practice repetitions on Wednesday. It's good news that the Bengals are optimistic about Higgins after he missed the last three games with a quad injury, but he's going to need to get back on the practice field if he wants to be cleared to play this Sunday evening. Cincy also plays in the Sunday night game against the Bolts, so if Higgins is a game-time decision, it will make him an even riskier fantasy play. If the 25-year-old pass-catcher returns on Sunday, he'll be a WR3/flex for fantasy managers, albeit in a tough matchup against a stingy Chargers defense. Tight ends Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson have benefitted from bigger roles in the passing game the last few weeks with Higgins sidelined.

Tee Higgins Still Day-To-Day

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (quadriceps) will continue to be considered day-to-day through practices this week, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Higgins missed his third straight game in last Thursday night's loss to the division-rival Baltimore Ravens, and it's unclear if he'll make enough progress this week in order to suit up on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. We'll have a much better idea of his status for Week 11 once the Bengals begin officially practicing again on Wednesday. When healthy, the 25-year-old Higgins has WR2 upside in Cincy's high-octane passing offense, but he has already missed five games this year due to injury. If Higgins misses a fourth straight game this Sunday, Andrei Iosivas and rookie Jermaine Burton would see more targets again, with tight ends Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson also having elevated fantasy ceilings.

Joe Burrow Dealing With Some Soreness

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (arm) is dealing with some soreness after he was hit hard a few times in the 35-34 Thursday night loss to the division-rival Baltimore Ravens, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Burrow was seen wincing when trying to move his left arm on the sidelines on Thursday evening after taking a few hard hits, but he never came out of the game and had another fantastic performance for his fantasy managers in the one-point loss, throwing for a season-high 428 yards on a season-high 56 pass attempts while tossing four touchdown passes and no interception. The former first overall pick out of LSU appears to be hitting his stride in the middle of the season and has now gone 61-for-95 for 679 passing yards, nine TDs and one interception the last two weeks. He'll be a no-brainer TE1 in Week 11, albeit in a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
