Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught two of four targets for 15 yards along with one carry for 15 yards during Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. For the third straight week, Samuel had himself a quiet performance as Washington's offense struggled to get anything going for most of Week 18. With the Commanders heading into the offseason, the seventh-year receiver is set to be an unrestricted free agent. While wide receivers are becoming more valuable than ever, it wouldn't be surprising to see Samuel donning a different uniform in 2024.

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has put together an up-and-down, yet promising rookie season as a safety valve for quarterback Josh Allen by vacuuming up 66 catches on 83 targets (79.5% catch rate) for 589 yards and two touchdowns in 15 appearances. The story of Kincaid's campaign fantasy-wise has been centered around his productivity with and without Dawson Knox in Buffalo's lineup. In five games sans Knox between Weeks 8 and 12, Kincaid rose to the occasion as an every-week TE1 with 31 catches for 281 yards and two scores. But in 10 other contests with Knox in the mix, which will be the case for Week 18's regular-season finale versus the Miami Dolphins, Kincaid has recorded just 40 catches for 373 yards and one TD. The 24-year-old first-rounder put up a career-high 87 yards in Week 17's win over the New England Patriots, but he will remain a hit-or-miss fantasy option on the packed 16-game slate.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is slowing up at the wrong time for fantasy managers after a sensational run of 462 rushing yards (80 carries) with 222 yards on 18 catches and four touchdowns through Weeks 10 to 14. Cook has totaled 118 scoreless ground yards with a loss of four yards on one catch in his past two games, which certainly wasn't what managers were looking for during the fantasy playoffs. The 24-year-old first-time Pro Bowler took a season-high five red-zone touches, however, in the Week 17 home win over the New England Patriots. That silver lining should bode well for Cook's TD prospects in what could be a high-scoring meeting for the AFC East title on Sunday night against the Miami Dolphins, which features the highest implied point total (48) that we'll find on the loaded 16-game slate. Trailing only Christian McCaffrey (calf) among tailbacks in total yards (1,515), Cook is a viable RB1 in Week 18.

Although there was never much doubt regarding his game status, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (neck) was removed from Friday's injury report ahead of Sunday night's matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Allen sustained a stinger late in Week 17's win over the New England Patriots, but he proceeded to log full activity in each of his three practice sessions. The 27-year-old superstar may not have a strong case in taking home the NFL MVP award this season, but he is certainly a candidate to be fantasy's MVP. Though Allen holds the second-most turnovers (19) among signal-callers, he leads the way with 24.1 fantasy points per game over 16 contests. Allen lit up Miami for a season-high four passing touchdowns back in Week 4 and should be treated as the top QB1 on Sunday's full slate in a game tied for the highest implied point total (48) despite his recent struggles through the air, with the Bills vying for the AFC East crown.

After a couple of rough weeks in a row, Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hamstring) will aim to bounce back in Week 18. Despite missing Thursday's practice with a hamstring injury, the seventh-year receiver was removed from Washington's injury report and appears to be good to go for this week's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Although this game is meaningless for the Commanders, Samuel has been a main target for quarterback Sam Howell this season. That connection could bring him into speculative start territory, but with Howell looking putrid lately, it still doesn't spark much confidence. Consider Samuel a flex option for the final week of the regular season.
