Zay Jones Gets Through Another Limited Practice

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee, hamstring) was once again a limited participant during Thursday's practice session. Jones was limited through practice last week before ultimately sitting out on Sunday. Jones has started off this week with back-to-back limited practice sessions. At this point, it's hard to tell if Jones is actually making solid progress or not. Regardless, Jones is unlikely to be much of a fantasy factor even if he does play versus the Tennessee Titans in Week 18. He should be viewed as a WR4 or a risky dart throw in DFS contests for this weekend.

Zay Jones Limited On Wednesday

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones (knee/hamstring) was limited in practice on Wednesday ahead of his team's Week 18 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Jones is dealing with a pair of injuries, one to his knee and another to his hamstring, as he looks to return from a two-game absence. The Jaguars could use his services as they still have a chance to win their division heading into the final game of the regular season. Jones has only appeared in nine of a possible 17 games in 2023 thanks to a variety of ailments throughout the season. Rookie Parker Washington would continue to see extra playing time if Jones can't suit up.

"No Doubt" Kyler Murray Is Returning To Cardinals Next Season

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said that there is "no doubt" that quarterback Kyler Murray will open the 2024 season later this year as the Cardinals' starting QB. "'Number 1' is our franchise quarterback," Gannon said. Since Murray made his 2023 season debut in Week 10, the Cardinals are 3-4 and just upset the Philadelphia Eagles 35-31 on Sunday. There had been questions as to whether the Cardinals would even play Murray for much of the year while he was rehabbing a torn ACL he suffered late in the 2022 season. Arizona will be looking to build around Murray in this year's draft instead of replacing him under center. With a normal offseason upcoming for Murray, he'll be a midrange QB1 target for fantasy managers in drafts this fall.

Zay Jones Could Play In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said he would expect wide receiver Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) to "potentially" get in more practice time this week and potentially play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans. Jones was limited all of last week in practice and eventually was held out of the Week 17 win over the Carolina Panthers for the second straight game. The 28-year-old has missed a whopping eight games this year due to injuries, but if he does end up suiting up and quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) also makes it back for a must-win game against the Titans, Jones could have some deep-league flex appeal in Week 18. When healthy, Jones should return to his role as the No. 2 behind Calvin Ridley with Christian Kirk (core) done for the year. In Weeks 13-15, Jones drew 30 targets and had 15 catches for 166 yards.

Michael Wilson Bounces Back In Epic Comeback Win

In Sunday's 35-31 triumph over the Eagles, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson redeemed himself with an impactful performance, catching 4-of-6 targets for 35 yards and a crucial five-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to tie the game. After a two-game catchless streak, Wilson showcased his resilience, reconnecting with quarterback Kyler Murray for a pivotal score. Although Wilson's efficiency was modest at 5.8 yards per target, the 23-year-old wideout proved instrumental in the Cardinals' comeback win. Looking ahead to Week 18 against the Seahawks and 2024, fantasy managers can find reassurance in Wilson's ability to rebound, envisioning him as a potential cornerstone of the Cardinal's passing attack for years to come.
