Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) won't suit up on Friday versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The 25-year-old last played in the opener versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, he exited that one after a fall and has been on the shelf since because of a pelvic contusion. Fortunately, Quickley is making progress. Yet, he'll also probably miss Saturday's meeting with the Kings. With Quickley out of the equation, Davion Mitchell, averaging 8.8 points, 7.0 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in four starts, is worth rostering in most fantasy setups, although category participants won't appreciate his 31.3% shooting from deep.

Toronto Raptors forward/center Kelly Olynyk (back) has been ruled out Friday for their contest against the Los Angeles Lakers. The 33-year-old has yet to suit up for the team this season and will miss at least one more. There hasn't been a firm timetable for his return to action either. Jakob Poeltl will continue to get a bulk of the minutes at center while Jonathan Mogbo and Chris Boucher see a lot of added opportunities in the front court as well. Mogbo and Boucher serve as quality streaming options in deeper leagues.

Gradey Dick and Davion Mitchell have seen the biggest increase in opportunities so far while Jamal Shead has seen a healthy amount of minutes off of the bench. Dick has been the best value out of the streaming options though.

As expected, Quickley will miss his fourth game in a row due to a pelvic contusion. The Raptors are in bad shape with Scottie Barnes (eye) expected to miss three weeks of action. Davion Mitchell, Jamal Shead, and Chris Boucher should all have increased roles with Quickley and Barnes sidelined. Quickley's next chance to play will be against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes (eye) will be re-evaluated in three weeks after sustaining a right orbital fracture in Monday's overtime loss to the Denver Nuggets. It's a tough blow for the Raptors, considering the team just had RJ Barrett (shoulder) make his 2024-25 debut. It's also rough for Barnes' fantasy managers, especially since he averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.0 steals in his first four games. With Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) still without a return date, Barrett, Gradey Dick, and Jakob Poeltl should do most of the heavy lifting on the offensive end. Fantasy managers can also consider Ochai Agbaji and Davion Mitchell for streaming purposes until Quickley or Barnes are back on the floor.
