Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (illness) is questionable for Monday's tilt against the Memphis Grizzlies. Porter has been downgraded due to an illness after not appearing on the initial injury report, which doesn't bode well for his chances of suiting up on Monday. Over Porter's last eight games, the 25-year-old marksman is averaging 20.6 points, 6.8 boards, and 3.0 three-pointers while shooting 46.2% from beyond the arc in 31.6 minutes. Each member of Denver's starting five, besides Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, are now uncertain to play against the injury-depleted Grizzlies, making it difficult to cast judgments on their rotation at this time. As it stands, the defensive-minded Peyton Watson and spot-up wing Christian Braun are names to watch who could be primed for amplified workloads for the defending champions based on who is available.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) was forced to miss their last game due to tendinopathy in his right knee. Now, he's on the injury report as probable for their game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Friday was his first missed game of the season so far, and it looks like that's all he'll need to miss for now. Porter provides efficient scoring and 2.7 made threes per game to go along with 7.0 rebounds a night. According to Basketball Monster, that's enough to put him one spot outside of the top 80 this year in per-game value for nine-category leagues.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (illness) is probable ahead of Tuesday's game in Indiana. The 25-year-old carried a questionable designation for the same reason before Sunday's meeting with the Washington Wizards. However, he was out there, finishing with 19 points, five rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in 32 minutes. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be healthy for Tuesday's contest, although it would be surprising if he didn't suit up. At any rate, if Porter can't go, Peyton Watson, averaging 17 points in two starts this year, would likely fill his spot in the lineup. But with Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon (shoulder) on the floor, it will be tough for Watson to do anything meaningful for fantasy managers.
Denver Nuggets forwards Michael Porter Jr. (knee) and Aaron Gordon (heel) are both suiting up on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. It's a clean sweep in terms of the starters' availabilities for Denver, who will be at full strength for Tuesday's matchup between two of the Association's juggernauts. Porter is managing inflammation in his left knee, but the oft-injured marksman has stayed as healthy as one could ask for with 41 games played at 2023-24's halfway point and is nearly supplying fifth-round value in 12-team nine-category fantasy leagues overall. Gordon is nursing a lingering strain in his right heel but will play through it on Tuesday, looking to build on a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double in Sunday's win over the Indiana Pacers.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup against Philadelphia. The 25-year-old has played in every game this season so far, but he could be forced to come out of the lineup due to left knee inflammation. Porter Jr.'s absence would open the door for Justin Holiday and Christian Braun to play much larger roles, especially if there are more absentees from Denver's regular lineup. The entire starting unit has been listed as questionable for the game.
