After sitting out six games with a quadriceps contusion, the Finnish star is finally ready to return to the lineup, with the team upgrading Markkanen from questionable to available. Markkanen's return will affect the usage of Keyonte George and Collin Sexton, although Jordan Clarkson's (groin) absence will still give them extra fantasy value. From a minutes perspective, Brice Sensabaugh and Taylor Hendricks likely take a hit, with Markkanen grabbing back his starter's role.

Due to the health issues with the entire team, the Jazz have leaned in even more to the youth movement. If Markkanen has to be sidelined again, Taylor Hendricks and Brice Sensabaugh will both likely remain in the starting five.

With Taylor Hendricks (toe) also out, the Jazz frontcourt rotation is looking very different, and Markkanen's injury has allowed Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson to take on larger roles offensively. The latter has averaged a whopping 20.3 shot attempts over the last three games, with Sexton not far behind with 17.7 shots.
