Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) has been cleared to play during Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. The All-Star guard will make his return to the court after missing the last six games due to a right thumb sprain. Fellow guard Luka Doncic (nose) is uncertain to play, which means Irving could be asked to carry a heavy workload on offense. There is no word on Irving being limited, so fantasy managers should feel comfortable moving him back into their starting lineups for Tuesday.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) has been upgraded from probable to available for Monday's meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers. A sprained right thumb has sidelined Irving for Dallas' past six games, but he said after Monday's morning shootaround that he's ready to roll, per SI.com's Grant Afseth. Availability has been an issue for Irving during his first full year with the Mavs he's appeared in only 27 games but he's been a first-round nine-category fantasy player when on the court via averages of 25.2 points, 5.3 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers, and 1.3 steals. It's unclear if Irving's minutes will be limited, but note that Monday is the first leg of a back-to-back set. Josh Green could lose his spot in the starting backcourt, with Tim Hardaway Jr. likely seeing fewer shots against Philadelphia.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) is expected to play on Monday versus the Philadelphia 76ers. The former Net is listed as probable after missing his previous six games because of a right thumb sprain. Irving continues to be a productive fantasy asset. However, Irving has missed plenty of time throughout the 2023-24 campaign, so it's been a constant issue for fantasy managers. Of course, he should be back in all fantasy lineups. At any rate, Irving's expected return should mean fewer minutes and scoring opportunities for Derrick Jones Jr., Josh Green, and Jaden Hardy. It might also mean fewer offensive chances for Luka Doncic, who's scored at least 40 points in each of his previous two games.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) has been officially ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. This doesn't come as a shock considering Irving was listed as doubtful heading into this game. The good news is, Irving reportedly had a few good days at practice and should be ready for Monday's game. In the meantime, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Josh Green will have extended roles in the rotation. Between the two, Hardaway is the better streaming option, but both have value for Saturday's slate.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (thumb) is listed as doubtful heading into Saturday's meeting with Milwaukee. Irving remains one of the NBA's most productive statistical performers, averaging 25.2 points and shooting 41.1% from behind the arc. Yet, he's missed 21 games so far this season, with his most recent ailment, a thumb sprain, keeping him off the floor for the last five games. Fortunately for Dallas, Luka Doncic (ankle) is off the injury report, which will help lessen the blow. Irving's anticipated absence should also mean more scoring chances for Tim Hardaway Jr., Jaden Hardy, and Josh Green.
