Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Josh Green will likely be a starter on his new team. According to Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer, "all indications" show that Green will line up on the backcourt alongside LaMelo Ball. Green started only 62 of his 223 games with the Dallas Mavericks across the past four seasons. He has posted 9.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in his career as a member of the first unit. Going from an NBA finalist to one of the worst teams in the league isn't a career path any player will want to take. But Green looks set to play a much larger role with his new squad, giving him extra fantasy value.

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Josh Green (ankle) has been cleared to return to action against Miami on Wednesday. Green hasn't played since March 14, and there were even fears of him being done for the rest of the regular season, but the 23-year-old is available again on Wednesday after missing 12 games. Green hasn't made a very big impact in fantasy hoops this season, averaging 8.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 26.6 minutes. It's possible he will return with a minutes restriction on Wednesday.

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Josh Green (ankle) will likely miss his 11th consecutive contest on Tuesday versus the Charlotte Hornets. It remains to be seen if the 23-year-old will return during the regular season, with Dallas having only four games left on the schedule. Tim Hardaway Jr., Derrick Jones and Jaden Hardy will continue to see extra minutes if Green is unavailable Tuesday.

He has yet to practice, so he will most likely be a no-go on Friday as well when the Mavericks take on Golden State. He will miss a second consecutive game on Tuesday versus the Spurs and is expected to be out for at least a couple of weeks with a right ankle sprain. Dallas closes its regular-season schedule on April 14. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dante Exum (foot) are set to see extra minutes off the bench during Green's absence. The former will look to produce a bounce-back performance on Tuesday after being limited to only one point in Sunday's 107-105 win over Denver.
