Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (hip) will play against the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. The Wizards are officially eliminated from Play-In contention, so it's somewhat surprising Poole is available. But he's good to go for a matchup with another of the league's struggling teams. The 24-year-old has averaged 18.3 points and 4.2 assists in March, his best stretch of the 2023-24 campaign. However, with the injury, Poole could see limited action.
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (hip) is questionable for Saturday's clash versus Toronto. The former Warrior has suffered a hip contusion, which could take Poole out of the lineup for the first time since Jan. 31. All of the last four games have been starts for Poole, who has stepped in for Tyus Jones (back). Jones is out again on Saturday, giving Poole extra fantasy value. However, apart from a 31-point performance against Boston, Poole has struggled in his most recent starts and could easily leave fantasy managers disappointed again on Saturday.
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (illness) is available for Friday's tilt versus the Miami Heat. A non-COVID illness made Poole a very late scratch ahead of Wednesday's defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers, but the Wizards have cleared him to play on Friday. The 24-year-old combo guard has only been a borderline fantasy play in nine-category leagues all year long during his first season in D.C., putting up 16.5 points on 41.1% shooting from the field, 3.4 assists, 2.0 threes, and 1.0 steals per game, but it's not a bad matchup against a Heat squad that's struggled to defend opposing guards in 2023-24. Rookie Bilal Coulibaly filled up the box score on Wednesday but will almost certainly revert to Washington's bench on Friday with Poole back in the mix.
Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (illness) has received a questionable tag on Friday as he continues to deal with a non-COVID illness that kept him from playing against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Poole hasn't been able to post the type of numbers that everyone expected this season, but he remains the team's starting two-guard. The 24-year-old is averaging 16.5 points, 3.4 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 2.2 turnovers per game while shooting 41.4% from the floor and 31.2% from three. At this rate, he hasn't been the most helpful fantasy player, so fantasy managers will want to have a backup plan ready and check back ahead of tipoff to see if he sheds the questionable status.
