Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (quad) has been given the questionable tag on Friday as he continues to deal with a right quad contusion. The former Knick hasn't played the last three games due to the quad issue and could potentially miss a fourth consecutive contest. Quickley finally joined the starting lineup when he was moved to Toronto and has enjoyed a bump in fantasy value in the process. Since his first game in Toronto on January 1, he's averaged 16.7 points, 6.1 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 made threes, and 1.4 turnovers per game while shooting 41.1% from the floor. If he's able to suit up, he's a must-start type of player now, but if he's going to be sidelined, Dennis Schroder should remain in the starting lineup in his place.
Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl (ankle) and guard Immanuel Quickley (quad) are both out for Tuesday's contest against the Chicago Bulls. Poeltl will remain sidelined for an 11th consecutive game with a sprained left ankle, while Quickley is missing a third straight matchup due to a right quadriceps contusion. Friday's outing against the Houston Rockets marks both of their next shots to return. With RJ Barrett (knee) also out on Tuesday, Bruce Brown and Dennis Schroder should stay in Toronto's starting five. Thaddeus Young and Jontay Porter should split minutes at center.
Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (quadriceps) is considered doubtful for Tuesday's meeting with Chicago, meaning he'll likely miss a third straight game. With Quickley unavailable, Dennis Schroder and Gary Trent Jr. run the backcourt. The two combined for 30 points on Sunday versus Atlanta and also made an impact defensively by collecting six steals. Quickley's injury has also helped Gradey Dick to start logging meaningful minutes again, although he's still far from a reliable fantasy asset.
Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic says that a bruised right thigh will keep guard Immanuel Quickley (thigh) out of Friday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers after missing Thursday's practice, but he'll travel on Toronto's six-game road trip that starts Sunday against the Atlanta Hawks. With IQ out for at least one game on Friday, look for Gary Trent Jr. and Scottie Barnes to handle the ball more in the first unit. Dennis Schroder and Bruce Brown are candidates to enter the Raptors' starting lineup against the Clippers.
Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley produced a good all-around performance in his first game for the team on Monday, finishing a 124-121 home victory against Cleveland with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He hit two shots from outside with five attempts, and Quickley was 5-for-12 overall from the field while having zero turnovers in 28 minutes. The 24-year-old, who finished second in the voting for the Sixth Man of the Year Award last season, started life in Canada as a starter, pushing Dennis Schroder to the bench. Schroder was still productive with a 12-point, eight-assist performance and actually logged a couple of extra minutes compared to Quickley, but early signs suggest that the two don't bother each other too much, and Quickley is a good fit on his new team.
