Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) won't return to Tuesday's meeting with the Boston Celtics. He went down with a non-contact injury in the third quarter and limped to the locker room. At the time, details were scarce surrounding the nature of the ailment. However, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Antetokounmpo suffered a left calf strain. The multi-time MVP has been battling hamstring tendinopathy over the last few weeks. But with a new issue, Antetokounmpo probably will miss time. Of course, he'll likely undergo further testing, with an update potentially coming on Wednesday.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (undisclosed) exited Tuesday's matchup with the Boston Celtics. The multi-time MVP has been battling a hamstring injury and wasn't a lock to suit up for this one. However, he was cleared to play. Unfortunately, Antetokounmpo went down with a non-contact injury in the third quarter and limped to the locker room. It's possible he aggravated the hamstring issue. With that in mind, his night could be over, with a more extensive exam likely on the horizon.
Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) will play against Boston on Tuesday. The former MVP will be tasked with helping the team end a four-game skid. Antetokounmpo hasn't had a great time against the Celtics this season, settling for only 22.5 points across two games. However, with Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) absent for the C's, Boston will be weakened inside the paint, which is where Antetokounmpo does most of his damage.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday's clash with the Boston Celtics. The multi-time MVP has been in and out of the lineup over the last few weeks because of left hamstring tendinopathy. However, he was on the floor for Sunday's loss to the Knicks and finished with 28 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks. With Milwaukee in danger of sliding down the Eastern Conference standings, Antetokounmpo will likely suit up for the must-win contest. But if he can't play, Khris Middleton (quad) and Damian Lillard will be locks for all DFS lineups. Bobby Portis could also see a surge in fantasy production if Antetokounmpo isn't available.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) will play on Sunday against the Knicks. He didn't suit up for Milwaukee's previous contest against the Toronto Raptors due to his nagging hamstring issue. But the Bucks need every win they can get to keep a grasp on the No. 2 spot in the Eastern conference, so the multi-time MVP will be on the floor for a pivotal matchup with New York. Antetokounmpo's return will likely send Jae Crowder back to the bench, nearly eliminating all of his DFS upside. But as far as Antetokounmpo is concerned, he's averaged nearly a triple-double versus the Knicks this season, so he's worth rostering in all DFS contests.
