Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) won't play on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans due to tightness in his left calf. His absence isn't surprising, as he was listed as doubtful earlier in the day. Payton II last suited up on Tuesday against the Lakers, registering nine points, one rebound, and one assist in 14 minutes. Extra minutes will be available for guards Klay Thompson, Chris Paul and Moses Moody in Fridays contest.
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) won't be in the lineup on Thursday against Portland. After being a late addition to the injury report, Payton II hasn't been able to get rid of tightness in his left calf to be available to play. Draymond Green (knee) and Klay Thompson (knee) are also on the shelf on Thursday, leaving Golden State a bit shorthanded. However, the team should still have enough quality to take care of business against a struggling Portland squad. There are more minutes available for Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, and Moses Moody. Paul and Kuminga will join the starting five for the clash.
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) has been added to the injury report with a questionable tag a few hours before tipoff against Portland on Thursday. He's experiencing tightness in his left calf and might have to sit out Thursday's action after playing in 16 consecutive games. Draymond Green (knee) and Klay Thompson (knee) have already been ruled out, so we should see plenty of Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga on Thursday. Moses Moody will also have a chance to step up from the second unit if Payton II can't go.
Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II (ankle) will play on Friday against the Mavericks. He was listed on the injury report because of a sore left ankle. Fortunately, the 31-year-old is good to go. Under normal circumstances, Payton wouldn't have much upside for DFS managers. However, he's worth rostering in deep DFS contests, considering Jonathan Kuminga (knee) and Andrew Wiggins (ankle) aren't available.
Golden State Warriors guard Gary Payton II (ankle) has been listed as questionable on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks due to left ankle soreness. The 31-year-old has enjoyed the healthiest part of his season while missing only two games since the beginning of February. Payton hasn't seen heavy minutes this year, however, so his fantasy value is limited to some defensive stats and lower scoring numbers. If he doesn't play however, that would mean more minutes to go around for Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski who have served as solid streaming options given the right matchups.
