Orlando Magic guard/forward Gary Harris (calf) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game against Washington. The Magic are completing a back-to-back and might sit Harris on Wednesday for right calf injury management purposes. Harris' absence would open up a spot in the first unit. Cole Anthony and Anthony Black are the main backups to Harris, while Markelle Fultz (rest) will also be an additional backcourt option on Wednesday after sitting out the first leg of the back-to-back. Washington has the worst defensive rating among all teams but plays with the highest pace in the league, so this is a dream matchup for Magic players.
Orlando Magic guard/forward Gary Harris (calf) isn't on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's contest against Brooklyn. The veteran didn't play on Sunday versus Atlanta in the second leg of a back-to-back. He also missed a game in a back-to-back situation in the week prior as the team continues to manage Harris' right calf injury. Harris has started in each of his last two games, but he's not very productive fantasy-wise, with averages of 7.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (calf) is making good progress and was able to return to on-court work on Wednesday. Harris has been sidelined since January 3rd due to a right calf strain. However, it sounds like Harris is doing well and inching his way closer to a return to the court. Right now, Markelle Fultz and Jalen Suggs are starting in the backcourt for the Magic. That being said, it's uncertain where Harris is going to land in the rotation once he's healthy. The expectation is that Harris will come off the bench. If he does, Harris probably won't see enough minutes to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats.
Orlando Magic guard/forward Gary Harris (calf) will miss a third consecutive game on Tuesday against Minnesota. The veteran strained his right calf a week ago and still needs more time off to be able to play again. With Harris out, Cole Anthony has logged over 30 minutes in back-to-back games. He's done a good job in a bench role all season, posting 14.3 points with 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The team also had Markelle Fultz back on the court last time out, although his playing time was capped at 15 minutes, and he was clearly rusty.
Orlando Magic guard Gary Harris (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets. This doesn't come as a shock after Harris left after only 12 minutes during Wednesday's game due to a calf strain. That resulted in Trevelin Queen and Anthony Black having bigger roles in the rotation. Black has been starting for the Magic, but Queen is the better streaming choice between the two, assuming he gets significant playing time. It's also worth noting that Cole Anthony (quad) has been removed from the injury report. He's expected to help fill the void left by Harris on Friday.
