Boston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) has been upgraded from questionable to available against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. Since this is the first half of the team's back-to-back, it's safe to assume that Horford will play Friday and rest on Saturday. Adding to that notion is the fact that Kristaps Porzingis (leg) has been ruled out Friday for injury management, so they'll likely flip-flop. Horford is a solid streamer with Porzingis out as he posted 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and four threes in their last game.
Boston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) is listed as questionable for Friday night's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Horford is dealing with a left toe sprain that forced him to miss Monday's game against Miami, though he was able to suit up after in Wednesday's victory over the Detroit Pistons. Given that Horford was able to suit up it points towards a good possibility he suits up on Friday. The 38-year-old has averaged 9.7 PPG and 5.1 RPG, providing iffy fantasy value. He's not a must start on Friday but those in deeper leagues that need rebounding help may want to consider him more than other fantasy managers.
Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (knee) and center Al Horford (toe) have both been ruled out for Monday's game against the Miami Heat. Horford was expected to take a rest day after playing in the first half of their back-to-back. Holiday, on the other hand, seems to be dealing with tendinopathy in his right knee which caused him to draw a questionable tag at first for their game Sunday. With both of them out, Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta should get some more minutes at center while Payton Pritchard likely moves into the starting five.
Boston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The big man appears to have suffered a toe injury at some point during Friday's game and is now in danger of sitting out on Sunday. If he sits, Neemias Queta would likely see more run on Sunday. Although, Queta only played six minutes during Friday's game, so he won't be much of a factor with Kristaps Porzingis active.
According to WEEI's Justin Turpin, Boston Celtics centerAl Horford(illness) will be sidelined due to an illness for Monday's matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers. Luke Kornet(hamstring) is also unavailable. However, the timing couldn't have been better forKristaps Porzingis(foot), who has been cleared to make his season debut. If Porzingis is on a heavy minute restriction, Neemias QuetaandXavier Tillman Sr.could be streamed for center stats in deeper leagues.
