Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac (knee) will come out of the lineup on Sunday versus Toronto. After playing in six of the last seven games, Isaac misses Sunday's action with left knee injury maintenance. Isaac has been very productive lately, averaging 10.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 18.6 minutes. Caleb Houstan should grab most of his minutes on Sunday, although the 21-year-old isn't nearly as impactful as Isaac and shouldn't be on fantasy radars.
Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. grabbed 13 points (5-13 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's 111-97 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Carter Jr. was dealing with some knee soreness earlier in the week. However, he has recovered and had a strong showing despite the loss. The 24-year-old is averaging 11.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 37 games this season.
Orlando Magic guard/forward Caleb Houstan will get an opportunity to run with the starters on Sunday versus Indiana. The 21-year-old will replace Anthony Black. Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley has been forced into tinkering with his starting unit due to Jalen Suggs' (thigh) absence. Houstan will make his 10th start of the campaign. His previous efforts in the role haven't gone too well, as the second-year player has struggled to hit his shots. He has been limited to 9.0 points on 35.6 percent shooting while collecting 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
Orlando Magic guards Jalen Suggs (thigh) and Markelle Fultz (knee) have been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Indiana. Suggs misses a second consecutive game with a right thigh contusion, while Fultz drops out of the lineup with a left knee strain. Both players were initially regarded as questionable for the contest. The backcourt absentees should provide a big boost to Cole Anthony in a very attractive matchup against an up-tempo team that doesn't defend well. Anthony Black and Gary Harris also have a chance to play larger roles, but they tend to be quite unproductive with their minutes on the court.
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (thigh) won't play on Friday against the Knicks. He's dropping out of the lineup for the first time in nine games due to a right thigh contusion. Suggs' absence could mean another start for Anthony Black, although the 20-year-old has impacted things very little during his rookie season and won't be a recommended fantasy target. Markelle Fultz and Cole Anthony are looking at a chance to grab extra work off the bench, but they have also been hit-and-miss throughout the fantasy season.
