Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (personal) has been ruled out ahead of Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran big man will miss this game due to personal reasons. Hopefully, everything is okay with Lopez and this will be a one-game absence. In the meantime, Robin Lopez will draw the start during Saturday's game. He doesn't have much upside outside of rebounding. Bobby Portis is the much better streaming option for Saturday's slate.
Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Khris Middleton (knee) didn't suit up for their game on Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans since he's still not playing both games of a back-to-back right now. The team is still trying to load manage his knee to make sure he's healthy come playoff time. He has since been removed from the injury report and will take the floor against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. The 32-year-old may not be enjoying the same level of a season that he's used to, but over the last four games, he's averaged 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.3 turnovers, and 2.0 made threes per game. He's still a playable player in all fantasy leagues and formats whenever he's healthy.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) popped up on the injury report with back spasms, but they don't seem to be severe since the team listed him as probable on Friday. The superstar forward has appeared on the injury report a handful of times this year, but has only missed two games. Fantasy managers have been able to count on Antetokounmpo more often this season and now that the Bucks have brought in Doc Rivers as their new head coach, we may see an even better offensive output. There could also be some growing pains at first, so his results may be a mixed bag for a few weeks. With that being said, Antetokounmpo remains a must-play in all formats.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded another triple-double on Wednesday, finishing with 35 points, 18 rebounds, and 10 assists in the team's 126-116 win over the Cavaliers. Since missing the January 17th game against Cleveland, the former MVP is one assist away from achieving three straight 30-point triple-doubles. He will have a chance to continue this dominant streak on Friday as the Bucks play the Cavaliers again at home. Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in 35 minutes per game this year.
Philadelphia 76ers point guard Patrick Beverley (illness) is set to return to action Thursday versus Indiana. The veteran has missed the past two games with an illness but isn't on the injury report ahead of Thursday's game. Beverley has had an elevated role lately due to the absence of De'Anthony Melton (back), who will continue to sit on Thursday. From a fantasy perspective, it's an excellent matchup for Beverley and the Sixers, as the Pacers play an up-tempo game and allow the third-most points per game in the league.
