Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (Achilles) has been cleared to play ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. As expected, Davis will suit up for this game after being listed as probable heading into this contest. He'll be asked to do more of the heavy lifting with LeBron James (ankle) ruled out. Taurean Prince and Rui Hachimura will see an extended run with James sitting out. Fantasy managers should make sure to have Davis active for Tuesday.
Los Angeles Lakers power forward Jarred Vanderbilt (heel) is listed as probable for Tuesday's Battle of Los Angeles against the Clippers. The 24-year-old missed the start of the season with a heel injury, and he's been a regular on the injury report with left heel bursitis. However, Vanderbilt has been playing through the issue, making 20 consecutive appearances. Vanderbilt averages 3.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 19.1 minutes for the Lakers this season.
Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. This looks like a rest game for the veteran forward who has been playing through an ankle issue. Taurean Prince has been removed from the injury report and figures to move into the starting five. Both Prince and Rui Hachimura are likely to see a boost in value with James sidelined on Tuesday.
Los Angeles Lakers forward Cam Reddish (knee) is listed as probable ahead of Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The team recently said that Reddish is expected to miss multiple games while he recovers from a knee issue. Well, Reddish appears to be on track to play after missing only three games. The expectation is that he'll slide back into the starting five once he's cleared to play. Reddish hasn't performed great this season, but could be a possible deep league option.
According to Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, forward Rui Hachimura (calf) will remain on a minutes restriction on Friday night versus the Nets. The former Wizard missed five games to begin 2024 but has been in uniform for the Lakers' last three contests. While his production hasn't been terrible, he's logged fewer than 22 minutes in each game since returning. That said, his minutes have steadily increased, so he could see some more work versus Brooklyn. However, Hachimura has a way to go before becoming a must-start fantasy option in any format.
