Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee), who remains listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, participated in the morning shootaround. The last-place Pistons have no reason to push their franchise cornerstone onto the court, but Cunningham's presence at the session bodes well for his ability to suit up for Detroit despite being listed with left knee injury management on Tuesday. Over his last 11 appearances, the 22-year-old star playmaker is averaging 24.8 points, 7.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.9 three-pointers. The Sixers are giving up the fifth-fewest points (22.9) and fourth-fewest threes (2.6) to opposing point guards, though.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (knee) is questionable heading into Tuesday's game against the Pistons. The veteran has missed the Sixers' last three games because of a knee injury. But with a relatively easy matchup on the horizon, Harris could get another night off in preparation for the postseason. With Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (hip) also on the injury report, Kelly Oubre Jr., Buddy Hield, and Paul Reed may find themselves as the top offensive options versus the 13-win Pistons.
Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's meeting with the 76ers, suggesting he will play. He didn't suit up for Sunday's loss to the Brooklyn Nets because of a sprained left ankle. As a result, James Wiseman got the start but finished with only four points, five rebounds, and one steal. But now that Duren is expected to return on Tuesday, Wiseman won't see much interest from DFS managers. However, Chimezie Metu, averaging 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds in the last four games, could stay involved, even more so if Cade Cunningham (knee) misses another contest.
Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the 76ers. He's missed the last three games because of left knee maintenance purposes. However, the Pistons have only four games left in their disastrous season, so the 22-year-old may not be back on the floor until the 2024-25 campaign. Of course, Cunningham's potential absence could allow Marcus Sasser, coming off an 18-point, six-assist showing on Sunday against Brooklyn, to remain relevant for fantasy managers. At the same time, Jaden Ivey, who took 21 shots versus the Nets, has a higher DFS ceiling than usual without Cunningham active.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (knee) is out on Sunday against the Spurs. He has a knee contusion, so his next chance to play will be Tuesday in Detroit. But with Joel Embiid (knee) also sidelined, Tyrese Maxey (hip) and Kelly Oubre Jr. should consume most of Philly's offensive opportunities.
