Denver Nuggets power forward Aaron Gordon (heel) is regarded as questionable for Tuesday's meeting with the 76ers. The 28-year-old has landed on the injury report with a right heel strain. Peyton Watson will likely pick up his third start of the campaign if Gordon is out on Tuesday. He filled in for him for a couple of games late last month, averaging 17.0 points and 3.5 rebounds with a pair of assists. Watson could get an even bigger opportunity to contribute on Tuesday, as all of the Nuggets starters have landed on the injury report with a questionable tag.
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup against Philadelphia. The 25-year-old has played in every game this season so far, but he could be forced to come out of the lineup due to left knee inflammation. Porter Jr.'s absence would open the door for Justin Holiday and Christian Braun to play much larger roles, especially if there are more absentees from Denver's regular lineup. The entire starting unit has been listed as questionable for the game.
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (tibia) has popped up on the injury report and has been listed as questionable with bilateral tibia inflammation. The 26-year-old hasn't missed a game since December 12 and was able to play a full 36 minutes on Sunday in an eight-point win over the Indiana Pacers. With Murray's injury history, the Nuggets may play it safe and give him a rest day if the tibia is bothering him that much. If that's the case, and he has to miss the game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Reggie Jackson would be the first candidate to take over the starting spot. He has registered some big nights when he gets the start, so he'd be a very good streaming option while Christian Braun could be a good option in deeper leagues.
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (hip) has been tagged as questionable for their Tuesday matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers. This is a much-anticipated matchup to see the reigning MVP Joel Embiid go up against the former two-time MVP Jokic. Everyone will have to wait and see if he's able to play through a left hip strain though. The Serbian superstar has only missed one other game so far this season, so it wouldn't be surprising if the team decided to play it safe. If he's unable to play, DeAndre Jordan would likely move into the starting five while Jay Huff or Zeke Nnaji would get some added minutes off of the bench. Jordan would be the better streaming option of the three though.
Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (dog bite) was originally listed as questionable heading into the team's Monday night game against the Charlotte Hornets. Head coach Michael Malone said that the plan is for Gordon to suit up and play. According to Katy Winge of AltitudeTV, he'll likely wrap his hand so that he doesn't ruin the stitches. Fantasy managers may want to be patient during his first couple of games back because stitches in his hand could affect his ball security and ball handling. He's an important part of the team's success though, so he should get as many minutes as he can handle.
