Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley (ankle) remains out on Monday against the Pacers. He's been out for a few weeks because of a sprained left ankle. That said, the Cavs currently hold the No. 3 spot in the Eastern Conference, with the Knicks in pursuit. However, Cleveland is hoping for a championship, so Mobley won't be rushed back, meaning he may not return for another week or two. Of course, Jarrett Allen will continue to do his best to handle business underneath the rim. But Georges Niang, averaging 13.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in seven starts this season, should continue to benefit from Mobley's absence. Niang has also shot 44.7% as a starter, which makes him an attractive category streaming option.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Max Strus (knee) remains out on Monday versus the Pacers. The 27-year-old has averaged a career-high 12.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists this season. But he's missed the Cavs' last seven games because of a sprained right knee. With Cleveland also down Donovan Mitchell (knee), Isaac Okoro and Sam Merrill should continue to see an increase in minutes and production for at least the next few games.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (nose) will miss Monday's matchup against Indiana. After returning from a knee injury, Mitchell lasted just two games in the lineup, breaking his nose in Saturday's contest against Houston. Caris LeVert is set for a fresh boost in fantasy value without Mitchell, while Darius Garland will once again carry a heavier burden on the Cavaliers' backcourt. Garland's numbers have jumped to 22.7 points and 6.5 assists in games without Mitchell this season.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell (knee) is doubtful for Monday's game against the Pacers. After missing seven consecutive contests, Mitchell has since suited up in two games in a row. In Saturday's game against Houston, the 27-year-old left in the second half with knee issues. The All-Star Mitchell recorded 11 points, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 23 minutes on the court.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) is questionable for Saturday's game against Houston. He missed the last three games because of a personal matter but was removed from the injury report heading toward this contest, so most had assumed he'd be available. However, Wade is now back on it because of knee soreness. With Max Strus (knee) and Evan Mobley (ankle) still sidelined, Cleveland wants to get him back as soon as possible. But until Wade is cleared to return, Georges Niang should continue to get more work. Unfortunately, Niang isn't always reliable, even when slotted for additional minutes.
