Indiana Pacers forward/center Jalen Smith (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's season finale against the Atlanta Hawks due to a left ankle sprain. The Pacers frontcourt could be light as Isaiah Jackson (hamstring) and Obi Toppin (ankle) are also questionable. Smith, on Friday, coming off the bench, posted 11 points, six rebounds, and two steals in 20 minutes on the court versus the Cavs.
Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (quadriceps) is questionable for Sunday's game in New York. He missed the Bulls' previous three contests because of a quad contusion. But with Chicago locked into a Play-In spot, there's a good chance he'll sit for a fourth. As of Saturday afternoon, DeMar DeRozan, Coby White, and Nikola Vucevic aren't listed on the injury report after sitting out on Friday. However, they may be held off the floor for the regular-season finale, meaning guys like Jevon Carter and Dalen Terry, combining for 37 points in Friday's win over Orlando, would automatically enter the DFS value conversation.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (hip) won't play on Friday versus the Bucks. The 21-year-old nearly had a triple-double in Wednesday's blowout over the San Antonio Spurs. But he'll sit this one out because of a bruised hip, meaning his next chance to suit up will be in Sunday's regular-season finale. With that said, Giddey's absence will open up minutes for Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace. However, both men are still hard to trust from a DFS standpoint.
Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (rest) won't feature against the Wizards on Friday. He sits out the second leg of a back-to-back for rest purposes. With Andre Drummond (ankle) already on the shelf, it looks like we'll get to know Adama Sanogo a lot better on Friday. Smaller lineups could also give extra playing time to Dalen Terry, Torrey Craig, and Javonte Green.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (hip) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Giddey is a late addition to the injury report due to a right hip contusion. Luguentz Dort figures to move into the starting five and have increased playing time if Giddey sits out. Cason Wallace is also a candidate for increased playing time, but Dort is the better streaming option between the two of them.
