Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum (illness) is listed as questionable for the team's Friday night game against the Washington Wizards. He's currently listed as dealing with a non-COVID illness so the severity of the sickness isn't known at the moment. Seeing as they'll be going up against a weaker opponent, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to allow him to rest and get healthy for their next matchup. If he's unable to play, Jaylen Brown will see an uptick in usage while Jrue Holiday and Derrick White should both be in the starting five. Al Horford and Sam Hauser will also see some extra opportunities coming off of the bench.

The Boston Celtics have removed forward Jaylen Brown (back) from their injury report ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Atlanta Hawks. After practicing on Tuesday, per The Athletic's Aaron Weiss, Brown is cleared to play in the sixth outing of a seven-game homestand following a one-game absence in Sunday's easy win over the Memphis Grizzlies with tightness in his lower back. The 27-year-old All-Star's usage has taken a slight dip in a loaded Celtics lineup during 2023-24, but he's still floating around fantasy's top 50 in points leagues with averages of 22.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.0 three-pointers, and 1.1 steals over 46 games. Wednesday's contest holds blowout risk in Boston's favor, but Brown is in a great spot against a Hawks team that ranks 29th in opponent field-goal percentage (50.3%) this season.

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (elbow) has once again landed on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's clash with Atlanta. The veteran is dealing with a right elbow sprain and is listed as questionable for the game. Holiday has played through the ailment for quite a while and has sat out only one of the last 18 games. Based on his numbers, the injury might be affecting Holiday's scoring ability, as he's been very inconsistent recently and hasn't even hit the 10-point mark in back-to-back games. However, Holiday has found other ways to make an impact, and having him available on Wednesday to tackle the threat of Trae Young would be a big plus for Boston.

Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday's tilt versus the Indiana Pacers, while Luke Kornet (hamstring) has been downgraded to out. Al Horford (neck) will be missing on Tuesday as well, so Porzingis should dominate minutes at center following a two-game absence with a sprained left ankle. The Unicorn is generating 19.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers, and 1.8 blocks per game and should be deployed in all season-long fantasy leagues.

The Boston Celtics have ruled out center Al Horford (neck) for Tuesday's matchup versus the Indiana Pacers. A sprained left neck will cost Horford the second night of Boston's back-to-back set and the third game of their current seven-game homestand. With Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) questionable and Luke Kornet (hamstring) doubtful on Tuesday against the Pacers, a spot start at center and massive workload could be in store for Neemias Queta.
