We’ve finally hit March, and we are only a few weeks away from March Madness. College basketball is still going strong, so come join the fun and get the best DFS plays for March 2 on DraftKings

Studs

Franz Wagner, Michigan ($7,800): Wagner has been on a tear lately, averaging over 30 fantasy points in his last eight home games. The Illini love to play fast and don’t have the size to matchup with Wagner inside or outside. He’s a great play in all formats.

Aaron Henry, Michigan St. ($8,100): Henry is playing 40 minutes and taking at least 15 shots. He’s a $9k player right now who we’re getting at a discount. He’s coming off a subpar game against a tough opponent, so I’m hoping the box score chasers keep him under 40%. Indiana is a solid defense, but he scored 40 fantasy points in the first matchup and I’m expecting around the same Tuesday.

Mid-tier

Jose Alvarado, Georgia Tech ($6,600): He’s probably my favorite play on the slate and I don’t see how he doesn’t smash on senior day. He’s $1k too cheap and plays the entire game. Coach Josh Pastner also rides him even with foul trouble, so we don’t have to worry there unless he fouls out in 20 minutes. He’s going to be chalky but rightfully so.

Jahvon Blair, Georgetown ($6,600): Blair got benched last game for disciplinary reasons, and that brought his price down significantly. He’s a senior, so I expect him to start and play with a chip on his shoulder here. Also, I expect him to be low owned against a Xavier team that struggles to defend.

Value

Dwon Odom, Xavier ($4,800): With Nate Johnson out for the season, Odom has started the last two games and played 28 and 31 minutes. The Hoyas love to run and Odom is a former top-100 recruit who has a ton of talent. He has 4x upside in this matchup.

Justin Lewis, Marquette ($3,900): I took a wait-and-see approach with Lewis returning last game from an ankle injury. He played 20 minutes and had 19 fantasy points. He should continue to creep back up to his 25- to 28-minute mark, so I’ll ride him until he’s over $5k.
