With Selection Sunday only a day away and NCAA conference tournaments on the line, we have a nice four-game DFS slate Saturday. Let’s take a look at some of the slate’s top plays.

Tiers

Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma St. ($10,000): He’s been locked in, averaging more than 40 fantasy points in his last four games. He had 37 in the first matchup against Texas, but his usage and possession rating have risen since the Oklahoma game in the beginning of March.

Charles Bassey, Western Kentucky ($9,800): it’s going to be very difficult to jam both of these guys into your lineup. Bassey has been on a tear and unless North Texas chooses to double him, he’ll be unstoppable in the post 1 on 1. He’s averaging over 40 fantasy points in the conference tourney and the increased usage should help offset the toughest matchup conference USA has to throw at him.

Mid-tier

Jamarko Pickett, Georgetown ($6,700): Any time he’s priced below $7k, he’s too cheap. We get a high-octane matchup between two of the faster Big East teams. Pickett is playing virtually every minute and can score fantasy points in so many different ways. He’s averaging 30 fantasy points in the Big East tourney and I expect another 4-5x day again to decide the championship.

Mitch Ballock, Creighton ($5,100): Ballock is one of the Big East leaders in minutes played and is one of the best shooters in the conference. He should make case value by just playing 35 minutes, but if he’s making 3s he’ll smash value for GPPs. Georgetown is not a great defensive team and their pace should allow for Ballock to get some good looks.

Value

Josh Anderson, Western Kentucky ($4,500): Anderson has been a staple in the backcourt for coach Rick Stansbury for years. He’s been injured this year, but he’s finally back healthy and playing a full complement of minutes. He’s been right around 3-4x, but he’s got a ton of upside. I don’t know if he will realize it Saturday, but he’s too cheap compared to his talent and proven track record.

Dayvion McKnight, Western Kentucky ($5,000): I really like the value despite the total in this one. WKU has not been on the slate much this year and DraftKings does not know how to price their guys. McKnight is starting and consistently playing 30 minutes and has shown 30-point upside on multiple occasions this year. I wouldn’t play three WKU guys, but I would look to playing both value guys or one of the two alongside Bassey.
