Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett admitted that the offense has been "inconsistent." Head coach Robert Saleh said he's not really worried about the offense this early in camp, although it could be something to worry about if the offense is still struggling after their first preseason game. The Rodgers-Wilson connection is certainly something to keep an eye on after they didn't get to work together at all last year due to Rodgers' Achilles tear. Fantasy managers thinking of taking Wilson as their WR1 should take this news with a grain of salt for now.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is a coveted target for fantasy managers in drafts heading into the 2024-25 campaign. He is already projected to be heavily involved in the offense. However, it appears Hall's role could be more significant than initially expected, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers implying that the 23-year-old is his top option in progression on goal-line routes. After Hall's rookie year was cut short by injury, he returned last season to run for 994 yards and five touchdowns off 223 carries, adding 76 catches for 591 yards and four scores. With that said, Rodgers and Hall collectively need to stay healthy. But if that happens, the 2022 No. 36 overall pick could easily surpass his production from a season ago in 2024-25.

The veteran quarterback has gone through nine practices in camp and did a 90-min scrimmage on Saturday. Head coach Robert Saleh said it looks like Rodgers hasn't missed any time. The 40-year-old is less than a year removed from a torn Achilles. Despite that, Rodgers says he was 95 percent healthy heading into training camp. The first chance for Rodgers to get back into game action would be Saturday in the preseason opener against the Washington Commanders. It remains to been see if Rodgers is ready for that next step.

Minnesota Vikings running back Kene Nwangwu has seen more reps this summer than in years past, according to Alec Lewis of The Athletic. Lewis said he remains the third back on the depth chart behind Ty Chander, but this development is still noteworthy considering Nwangwu has just 27 career carries across 37 games. The speedster has been primarily used as a special teamer early in his career, but he could now have a path toward touches if the injury bug hits the Minnesota running back room. For now, he can be ignored in traditional fantasy setups, but there are deep leagues where almost all backup and third-string running backs are rostered. He should be on the fantasy radar in those formats as a deep handcuff stash. His 4.37 speed could give him a chance to produce spike weeks if he's given any opportunities in the backfield during the regular season.

The New York Jets have signed former Detroit Lions tight end Anthony Firkser. Firkser joins a Jets tight end room led by Tyler Conklin. Firkser only appeared in two games for the Lions in 2023 and did not record a statistic. This appears to be a depth add for the Jets as they prepare for the season's long haul with eyes set on the Super Bowl. Time will tell if Firkser manages to make the final roster. This move is of little consequence for fantasy football.
