Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker touched the ball just three times in his Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He was targeted only three times, catching two passes for 26 yards, while rushing one time for seven yards. It was a brutal matchup against one of the league's best defenses in which his team mustered just 158 yards of offense outside of a garbage-time touchdown drive. Tucker is the clear second wide receiver on this offense, but his upside is capped by target-hogging tight end Brock Bowers. He should be viewed as a bench-stash in deeper leagues in his upcoming Week 9 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. They're a much softer defense, but Tucker is a risky start for now.
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker could be the team's top option again at WR in their Week 8 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. The team's current WR1, Jakobi Meyers (ankle) missed practice on Thursday, meaning he may not be available for the contest. If he isn't, Tucker will once again be the team's lead healthy receiver. It's a terrible matchup -- the Chiefs have allowed the fourth-least PPR fantasy points to opposing receivers. They'll be able to focus on the second-year pro and limit him if Meyers can't play. Even if both WRs take the field, it will be difficult for the former Cincinnati Bearcat to succeed. He's not worthy of start consideration in Week 8.
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker hauled in three passes on eight targets for 37 yards and rushed one time for 11 yards in the team's loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. He was mostly held in check despite being the top receiving option available for the team. All of Las Vegas' offense has been underperforming for most of the season, save for rookie tight end Brock Bowers. Moving forward, the second-year pro isn't an intriguing starting option in fantasy given the state of the offense. With wide receiver Davante Adams now on the Jets, Tucker is the WR2 for the team when Jakobi Meyers (ankle) returns to the lineup. The Raiders face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8. Tucker isn't an appetizing start for that matchup.
