Los Angeles Rams quarterback Stetson Bennett has been with the team this offseason and is battling for the QB3 job behind Matthew Stafford and Jimmy Garoppolo. The organization will have to decide whether or not to keep three quarterbacks on the active roster, but Bennett could act as the emergency quarterback in 2024 if he beats out Dresser Winn. That said, Garoppolo will miss the first two games of the new season after violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs, so Bennett could be the QB2 early on. General manager Les Snead said Bennett was an "exhausted human being" last year after an action-packed college career that included stops at the junior college level and winning two consecutive national championships at Georgia. This helps explain his absence as a rookie in 2023. The 26-year-old is unlikely to make noise in fantasy football this season barring injury, but he could remain a deep dynasty league stash in Superflex or two-QB formats.

Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead said quarterback Stetson Bennett is working out in Dallas, and he is expected to join the team for offseason workouts in the coming months. The two-time National Champion at Georgia was selected in the fourth round of last year's NFL Draft, but he was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list on September 13 and did not play in any games. It's still unclear why he was away from the team during his rookie season, but the plan is for him to be back in 2024. That said, the Rams recently signed Jimmy Garoppolo to back up Matthew Stafford, so Bennett is unlikely to make an impact for Los Angeles or fantasy teams this year.

The Los Angeles Rams still sound undecided on quarterback Stetson Bennett's future with the team, with head coach Sean McVay saying the team will "connect with" Bennett "at the appropriate time." "And you figure out, 'All right, where are you at? And is this something we feel like is best for him and our football team to bring him back into this ecosystem." Bennett was placed on the Non-Football Injury list in mid-September of his rookie season due to an undisclosed illness after taking him in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft. In his three preseason games, the two-time collegiate national champion threw for 347 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. Hopefully, we'll get more clarification on the Rams' plans for Bennett and why he missed his entire rookie season.
