Evan Engram Has Looked "Fantastic" At OTAs

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram has quietly been one of the best at his position in fantasy football over the last two seasons, and team reporter John Shipley said he has looked "fantastic" this summer at OTAs. The former first-round pick by the New York Giants in 2017 has found a great home with Jacksonville and catching passes from Trevor Lawrence. Over the last two years, he's hauled in 187 passes for 1,729 yards and eight touchdowns. He trails only Travis Kelce in receptions among tight ends since 2022, and his 114 receptions in 2023 rank second-most in a single season for tight ends all-time. After the departure of Calvin Ridley and Zay Jones, Engram should continue to be heavily targeted in 2024. Despite finishing as the TE2 (PPR) last season, he has an average draft position around the TE7 spot. He could provide immense value at cost.

Evan Engram Has 10 Catches In Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram caught 10 of his 13 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's meeting with the Titans. With the loss, the Jaguars were eliminated from postseason contention. However, Engram put forth his best effort, so he can't shoulder much of the blame. Overall, the 29-year-old arguably had the best season of his career. He caught 114 passes, doing so despite the subpar play of Trevor Lawrence. Engram also nearly hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark and found the end zone four times. That said, his stock will be much higher than most at the position ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. If Lawrence can get his act together, Engram could be in line for his best year in the league.

Evan Engram An Easy TE1 Play At Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram heads to Nashville to face the Titans in a "win and in" playoff scenario this Sunday. The veteran tight end continued his career year last week, adding a team high-six catches and 60 yards to his already stellar numbers. Engram is now just six receptions away from being the fourth tight end in league history to record 110 or more catches. While he has still only recorded three scores on the season, Engram is first in targets and second in yards after the catch among tight ends. Even if C.J. Beathard draws the start for a second consecutive week, Engram is a no-brainer play against a reeling Titans defense. While Tennessee has been able to limit opposing tight ends, Engram's target volume is simply too high to leave on fantasy benches.
