DJ Moore Catches Four Passes To End Season

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore wrapped up the strongest season of his career in a mild manner in Week 18, catching four of six targets for 64 yards in the team's 17-9 loss to the Packers. The star receiver finished with a career-best in receiving yards (1300) and touchdowns (eight) while going over 100 yards in a game five times this season. The former Panther finished the season as the WR8 in PPR formats, averaging over 19 points per game when Justin Fields plays the whole game. In his first year with the team, Moore added exactly what this Bears' offense needed, and his skillset combined with Fields' ability to throw the deep ball has been a perfect match. He's talked about how much he loves playing with Fields, but it's uncertain who will be the quarterback for the Bears in 2024. Moore will look to build on a career year in 2023 next year with Chicago.

DJ Moore Good To Go For Week 18

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore suffered an ankle injury in Week 16 against the Cardinals but returned to the game. In Week 17, the star receiver had an injury designation before full participation in practice on the Friday before the game, and he went on to catch nine of 13 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown. The former Panther finished with over 30 PPR points for the second time this year and the first since his Week 5 outburst on Thursday Night Football. With Justin Fields healthy, Moore has put up at least 20 PPR points in six of the last eight games, with the only games less than that coming against the best defense in the NFL and a game he was injured in. Leading up to Week 18, his status was in question after sitting out the first two practices, but full participation on Friday means he should be good to go Sunday. The Bears take on the Packers in Week 18, who allow the 19th-most points per game to receivers this season. He ranks as a low-end WR1 ahead of the final game of the season.

DJ Moore Limited Again

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (ankle) was limited in practice for the second day in a row due to an ankle injury. The 26-year-old was initially hurt in Week 16 but was able to play in last Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. He looked just fine in that contest, catching nine of 13 targets for 159 yards and a touchdown. Moore already has career highs in receiving yards (1,300) and touchdowns (8) and needs two more catches in Week 18 to set a new personal best in that category, too. Given Moore's strong showing in Week 17, the Bears are likely just exercising caution before their season finale against the Green Bay Packers.
